Our Anniversary!

One year ago today Kyle and I were married for time and all eternity! And guess what one year later we still like each other... a lot! Our wedding day was beautiful and absolutely perfect!

We were married early in the morning and then we spent a lot of time taking pictures. A special thank you to my wonderful cousin's Matt and Ashley, they did an amazing job with our pictures and with our video.

We had a wonderful luncheon at the Landmark Restaurant.
Our reception was at the Wright House and it was more beautiful than I could have hoped! Apparently the food was really good... we wouldn't know... we didn't get any! A huge thank you to everyone that was there to support us it was a beautiful night!

I loved my flowers and all of the arrangements.

Thank you so much to all of our family that came to support us. We love you so much!
The day was perfect!

Wisdom Teeth!

So I got my wisdom teeth pulled last Saturday... what an adventure. I know what you are all thinking ... why hasn't she gotten them pulled before. Well here is the deal I'm a little behind when it comes to my teeth. I'm 20 years old and I finally have my 12 year molars in... that's right. Anyway so we tooth some x-rays at the beginning of the summer and found that my wisdom teeth had finally come in and it was time to take them out. My wonderful dad removed them for me. He said that they were the top ten hardest that he had ever had to pull. He did a great job tho, I hardly felt anything...until I got home. And then the real fun started. I was VERY swollen, we have a picture but I chose not to post it. If you need a good laugh I'll email it to you... NOT! Anyways so the swelling is almost gone but the bad news is that I got an infection on the right side and it has been hurting more than anything that I could possibly imagine. We had to go to the emergency room Monday night, that is how bad it was. The next day my dad gave me some stronger medication and some very strong antibiotics so I've been feeling better, slowly but we're getting there. I really want to thank my wonderful family and my wonderful husband. They have been so awesome to me and very patient. I haven't been able to eat solid food yet... and it stinks. Kyle has been great to make sure that I eat and my mom has been making me mashed potatoes and they even brought me some golden spoon! So basically it has been a pretty hard week but I am very gratful for all of the love and support!

Summer!

So it has been forever since we have written on our blog... so this may be the longest blog post EVER! Our summer has been crazy, we've both been taking classes at ASU. Our summer fun started out in June with Beehive camp! We went to the grand canyon for our hike and had a lot of fun telling stories and getting to know that girls.

Then we spent the rest of June working and finishing up our first school class. We celebrated the end of our class by going to UTAH!!! We drove up with Carson, Lacee and they were great. I had threatened them that if they were bad that I would leave them in Kayenta and they could wait for mom and dad to pick them up! Then I had my birthday and I turned 20! Kyle was the sweetest boy and he got me the 6 hour Pride and Prejudice!!! I was very excited... I've already watched it twice!
Our first weekend in Utah was with my mom's family. All 7 kids from her family were there with their spouses and kids. That hasn't happened for over 4 years. It was crazy, we had over 30 people squished into my grandma's house with only 2 bathrooms....talk about an adventure! But we had a great time playing games and eating a ton of food! After everyone headed home we went out to Provo to visit Kyle's grandparents and see my roomates. It was so great to see them! Kyle even got to have his very first experience with Training Table. The BEST restraunt in the entire world. We then headed back to good old Roosevelt. And spent the rest of the week with my Dad's family. He also had all of his siblings there and it was really fun to catch up with everyone! We went to Kyle's first Rodeo... that was another adventure.... :)

We spent a lot of time trying to catch bull frogs over at the golf course, and playing golf.

Then we went up to one of my very favorite places in the whole world, Stillwater. It is a great big dam up in the mountains.

We all braved the ice cold water by walking across the bottom part of the dam. The water was so cold it hurt your legs all the way up to your knees even tho you were only in the water up to you ankles. Then we got in trouble by the forest rangers...its not a Jenkins family gathering until we get in trouble. Then we had a delicious picnic and went for a hike up around the dam. Then all of the kids and the guys jumped in the ice cold water. It was a fun day!

Then we headed back to Salt Lake to take my dad to Airport and we stayed with Kyle's grandparents again. They are the greatest! Kelly and Keri were there getting ready to take Keri to EFY. We went to drop Keri off Monday morning and while we were waiting in line to get Keri signed up one of the counselors asked Kyle and I if were going to EFY...thats right we look like we're 14. And I'm not even a teenager anymore!!! We made it back to Arizona and once we got into our Apartment were the temperature was over 100 degrees we wondered why the heck we left Utah!!!

So to get another break from the intense heat we went out to San Diego with the Cordners and had an amazing time. We went and saw the San Diego temple and hung out at the Cove and watched the sun set. The next day we went to Beach and went boogie boarding! It was so much fun. We all got baked... I even got my very first sun burn... it is awful!! Not as bad as Kyle's but it was still very uncomfortable.

Well that basically wraps up what Kyle and I have been up to. Congratualtions to those of you who actually read through this whole post! Thanks for reading!! We love you all!

Playing Parents and our first week of school

So this week was a crazy week for us. We both started our new classes at ASU. Kyle also had his
orientation for his hospital internship that starts next week. He gets to work in the emergency room at Scottsdale Health Center. It should be a really fun adventure!

Also this week my mom had girls camp and my dad and Carson went to Havasupi for the weekend. So Kyle and I stayed with the younger ones. It was really fun trying to keep them busy! Kyle was such a good help! Those kids really love him.
Lacee had her musical theater class every morning and Kyle had to go to school everyday, so I got to stay and play with Halee and Tragdon. We found this little water park in downtown Gilbert that was a fun little place to stay cool!

Friday morning we went to the zoo, and that was a blast. We went to the petting zoo and got to see tons of fun animals. We also went to another little water park that was in the zoo. We all had a good time cooling off. Then we went and walked around the rest of the zoo and got all dry.

We even got to go watch Kyle's church softball games. Harris ward won the championship!! Halee and Tragdon were good little cheerleaders for Kyle. Halee and Tragdon sure keep life exciting with all of their messes and adventures. They sure make it all worth it tho! We made some really good memories with those little kids.

Disneyland!

We've been married for six months! Can you believe it?! Kyle was on break so we decided to take a trip out to California. It was a blast! We stayed in a hotel that was right across the street from the park...that was an adventure...but the location and the price was great! I got to experience my very first earthquake which was pretty terrifying. Right after we got to california on Sunday our hotel started shaking and the bed and the walls started shaking! It only lasted like 10 seconds but it was enough to scar me for life. Kyle has been through like 6 earthquakes so it was just a free ride for him!

The next day we got up early and were one of the first ones into Disneyland! We were there on a Monday so there weren't a lot of people! We almost walked on every ride which was great. We got soaked on Splash mountain and Kyle even took me inside the castle! I didn't know you could go in there! We were dead tired by the time we got home the next day, but we had a great time!

Bloggin?

So people keep asking me if we have a blog...here it is. So we've been married for almost six months! Its gone by so fast! Kyle is Pre Med, it keeps him pretty busy. I'm working at my dads office and getting ready to start classes at ASU in the summer. I'm the Beehive advisor in our ward, and I am loving getting to know the girls. The only thing is that I don't feel old enough to be a young womens leader, I went to high school with some of the laurels!! Its been a great expierence so far! And that is about it for us right now!
