Dear Baby Girl,

First off thank you for finally making the sickness go away, it wasn't in time for thanksgiving but you did give me a Christmas miracle and gave me back my appetite! I wanted to tell you how excited your father and I are to find out that we are going to have a daughter. It was so fun to get to see you during the ultrasound, you are so active and it was fun to see your little arms and legs kicking and moving. It was so comforting to know that you are growing perfectly. We are so excited for you to get here, we already bought your crib and put it together and I convinced your dad that it isn't to early for me to start buying you clothes and I've bought some pretty cute ones! I can't stop picturing what you are going to look like and what kind of person you are going to be. I'm so glad that I will have you to be my little helper and I know that you are going to be such a special little girl. You are all we think about these days, your dad and I love to sit with our hands on my stomach and feel you kick. I'm sorry that I sometimes poke you or sit in positions that I know you don't like so that you will move. :) But I can't get enough of feeling you, even when your strong kicks wake me up the middle of the night. I am looking forward to the next 4 months being this close to you but I can't wait to have you here. I'm so grateful that I get to keep you forever. I love you baby girl!

Love, Mom

Exciting New Year

This was one of the best holidays I have ever had! Christmas was absolutely perfect, we spent Christmas Eve and early Christmas morning with my family. We had a fun Christmas Eve with a huge and wonderful dinner and then nativity play followed by sitting in the hot tub (only a little bit for me) and singing Christmas songs at the top of our lungs. Christmas morning was amazing, baby got some really fun presents and Kyle and I hit the jack pot. We have the most wonderful parents! They do so much for us and we are so grateful for all that they do for us!

Then we had Anika's birthday, she is the cutest little girl and she makes me so excited to be an aunt. I just LOVE her and going on walks to look at Christmas lights with her!

Then came New Years Eve which was one really really big party. All of my mom's brothers and sisters were able to come down to visit. My grandparents are serving a mission in Florida so its fun for all of us to make the effort to still get together. We had about 35 people, the majority of them under the age of 12 running around my parents house. It was a blast!

2010 was a really hard year for us. We are grateful that it is over and we can start out this new and exciting chapter in our lives. Kyle will graduate from ASU this year, we will apply to dental school and most exciting we will welcome our little baby into the world this year!

Here is my 20 week picture, I'm still in my regular jeans, with plenty of room before they get tight, but you can tell I am starting to get a little belly.
But the most excited news we had this holiday season came after New Years. It was hard for us to enjoy the end of the holidays because we were so excited for what was going to come right after them. We had our doctors appointment for the 20 week ultrasound and we are so pleased to announce that we are going to be having a baby....

GIRL
We are so excited and can not wait for her to get here so we can kiss that cute little face!

Here is her cute little profile

She would not stop moving around during the entire ultrasound, the tech had to keep poking her to get her to move around so that she could get the pictures that she needed. In this one she has her knee touching her nose... I'm glad that she is more flexible than her mom!

This is her cute little fist on her knee
Her adorable little feet

I know I may be a little bit biased but I already think she is the cutest thing ever! We are so excited to meet her!
