Christmas Gift Botches 2016

Kyle and I always have a really hard time making it to Christmas without knowing exactly what we were giving each other.

Like someone leaving the Christmas gifts unwrapped on the counter.... whoops!
Or Kyle someone being so annoying really excited about what he was getting me someone that I someone opened the gift and then rewrapped it before Christmas.....

But this year was hilarious with the amount of gift mishaps and I had to write them all down.

First off Kyle bought me the best gift ever! A new camera. And he was so excited to surprise me. He bought the camera on black friday. He bought it online and we were sitting next to each other on the couch. He thought he was so sneaking because I had no clue! Well my watch buzzes on my wrist and its a text message from the bank with a fraud alert that someone had just spent a bunch of money at walmart! I started freaking out and telling kyle he needed to call the credit card company immediately. He gets all uncomfortable and says... "Merry Christmas".  Ha ha! So I knew what my big gift would be.

Also on Cyber Monday I bought Kyle the last two season of the mentalist. We loved those seasons and haven't seen them since they aired years ago. They were on sale and I was so excited to surprise him! I didn't think he would think of that in a million years. The next day the package showed up and I opened it. Kyle got home and asked if a package had come for him today, I told him that his didn't come but mine did! He starts smiling and asks me if it was two items. I said yes. He asks how much I spent and I said about $30. We both realize we bought each other the same gift!!! He had received the confirmation email that his had been delivered. We laughed pretty good at that one.

Then the groupon package came with the item written on the bag so Kyle knew what he was getting.

Then... I got Kyle a new driver. I went to Dicks to get the one he had tried out a few months earlier. I had dropped Juliet at preschool so it was just me and Jane. The Dicks by us didn't have it anymore so the guy called the store in tempe that was about a half hour away. They had one more and would hold it for me for that day. I picked up Juliet from preschool and we headed over. It was lunch time and almost Jane's nap time so I knew it would be crazy but I had to do it before Kyle got home from work. Juliet was acting really weird and saying she was so tired. She kept telling me I needed to take her home. I told her to just try and go to sleep. We drive the half hour over overt there and as we are getting off the freeway Juliet starts barfing. Everywhere. I had no idea what to do! All I had to do was run in the store and grab the golf club. Luckily I remembered that I had an extra set of clothes in Juliet's preschool backpack. I wiped her down, changed her and ran in with the girls to get it. We made it back home without any more incident I got her clean and down for a nap. Needless to say it was crazy, but I was glad I got it for him!

Then just days before Christmas Kyle's belt broke. I had bought him a new one for Christmas so I had to tell him I already got him a new one and not to buy one. Ha ha!

It was pretty funny all the crazy things that happened. But needless to say it was the best Christmas ever with lots of fun meaningful surprises. I love all the good laughs we've had!

The rest of December

The rest of December was pretty fantastic too! Its weird to think that we had time for anything else with all the fun Christmas Activities and Juliet's birthday. No wonder if went by so fast!

Nothing like a good Juliet selfie.

Crazy Jane hair and a princess dress. This is what she looks like 99% of the time.

These two play together really well. Jane loves her big sisters! She just needs to learn not to be baby godzilla on all the stuff they build.

Kyle volunteered at the Mission of Mercy. He pulled 50-60 teeth in a matter of a few hours. I was seriously proud of him. Especially because it was a work day for him so he sacrificed a full day of production based work to do it for free for people who truly need it. He has helped out as an assistant before and he really loved being the doctor that go to do the work.

Kyle was in charge of the Elf on the Shelf at work one day.

Jane is getting so big!

But still loves to have a bottle. I'm really trying to break the habit!

hanging out at Daddy's softball game. I love going and watching him.

Sad Jules.

Abby and Jules made a tent in the spare room and wanted to sleep in it. More power to them.

Watching Halee play volleyball.

Jane really loves oatmeal... I don't love cleaning up Oatmeal...

Jane had the weirdest allergic reaction one sunday right before church. We gave her some benadryl and I took her to my parents house so she could take a nap while we went to church. It was kind of scary.

This pictures cracks me up. Jane was SOOO mad at me. I was trying to bathe her. I put her in the nice full tub... she peed... so I took her out and she got mad. I drained the tub and refilled it. Put her in and she peed again... so I took her out and she got really mad. Drained the tub and refilled it and put her back in and then she pooped!!! So I took her out again and she got really really really mad. After that she finally had her bath. Sheesh kid. Hold it together.

We've gone to a lot of Lacee's home games. Its been really fun! We made these fun signs for her one time. We love cheering for lacee.

One saturday we went and fed the  ducks at the park. We brought Tragdon with us. It was pretty fun!

Lacee had winter Formal and we did the dinner at my parents house. It was seriously a blast!

On Sunday Kyle took Jane home early from church. Jane naps from 12-3 right now and we have church from 12-3. Not fun. So he took her home so she could nap and after church me and the girls started walking home while we waited from him to come get us.  It was a perfect day outside!

I made CDs with all the primary program songs on them for the primary children's christmas gift.

The notes abby brings home from her friends. I love that they pass notes to each other!

Making cookies for Juliet to take to her preschool class for her birthday treat.

Watching Christmas movies and snuggling. I love that whenever you reach out to Juliet to touch her she always loves you back.

These two are so similar and I learn so much from their personalities which are so different from mine! I don't know what I would do without them.

baby bedhead!

Once we took down our Christmas tree I was able to get my new pictures up on the wall! I am in love!

December was awesome! And for the first time in 4 years I am not dreading the cold dreary winter ahead of me!
