Our last February in Colorado! February here is not the funnest. The weather is really up and down. Luckily this February was not the worst that we have had! We were able to get out and do a lot of fun stuff!
On to the monthly phone dump!
Kyle took this pictures on his drive up to Longmont. He finished that rotation at the end of February and the beginning of March. It was his longest rotation and it was the farthest away. He enjoyed it, but he was glad when it was over. 4th year has been the best! He is home so much. Relatively stress free compared to the other years.
Me on top of what we lovingly call the "ice castle". When the plows go down the two streets that meet at our house they push all the snow right behind our garage. It gets so tall and it takes forever for it to melt. Its pretty fun.
At night after we have scripture study and say a family prayer the girls get in their beds to say their individual prayers. Jane loves playing on Abby's bed. She will lay on her pillow next to her. Abby thinks its the best!
Family home evening fun! We are going through the "Book of Mormon Stories" primary song. We sing the verse we are learning that week, watch a short video about the story and do a fun activity to go with it. It short, sweet and actually really fun.
Snow day shenanigans. I have been working really hard and gaining a lot of strength. I would love to do a handstand all on my own, so I've started practicing. Its hard to be upside down. Ha ha!
Lots of snow!
Valentine crafts!
Play group at the church. Its so nice that the church is only 5 minutes from our house. We go to play group on Wednesdays. Its so nice to get out!
Homeschooling is going really well with Abby. She just soaks up everything and anything I teach her. She asks to work on the workbook every day and is almost always upset when I say we are done for the day. I'm going to miss it when she starts school in the fall. I guess we'll still have homework!
Family workout!
The Broncos won the Super Bowl! We watched it with Derik and Kaity and she makes the best guacamole. I laughed so hard when I saw this and I texted it to her.
We had to get our championship shirts!
Warm days after the snow. Jane kept crawling outside and go straight for the snow and then cry every time she touched it.
Abby is the best big sister!
Jane LOVES being in the tub with her big sisters. She was always trying to climb in so I finally threw her in with them. She is in heaven over it.
Rocking my colorado sweater. I am in love with this thing and wear it as much as possible.
My sweet 10 month old valentine!! I can't believe she is 10 months old. She is always on the move. She has the sweetest little voice and loves to jibber. She sleeps great! She is a very sweet, content baby. She is so curious and is always getting into things she is not supposed to and making huge messes. We love her anyway!

We potty trained this sweet girl! To be honest Kyle and I were ready to fight the potty training battle for months and months and months. Juliet doesn't like to make things easy. Ever. She was showing zero interest in potty training. But I wanted her to be securely potty trained before we moved. So we took the plunge. She rocked it! We were shocked. She had one accident first thing in the morning and then she wouldn't go for the rest of the day. She had no problem sitting on the toilet, but she just wouldn't go. Finally about 6 that night she went on the toilet! And since them she has been great! A couple random accidents here and there but after that first week she was solid. We were shocked and so happy!! Its been a huge blessing to not have to be changed two dirty bums all day.

This baby said no more nursing. That was a sad day. I kept trying to force her to nurse at night before bed and it was not going well. She loves real food. She eats great and she likes to feed herself. I can't believe how big she is getting and how fast it is all happening. Stay little Jane!
This girl has the biggest heart and biggest imagination. I can't get enough of her!
She wants to be wherever they are. Learn to walk and go down steps safely and I'll let you out with them Jane!
The girls did a sports class through February. It was Juliet's first time because she was finally 3! It was pretty hilarious to watch her. They both had a great time.
After class one day we went and grabbed daddy for lunch and then stopped and played at the park by the school. It was such a beautiful day!
Jane learned to go up the stairs. So thats been a constant battle. I wish she could learn how to go down!
Teething has been a beast. She needs her naps. She misses her morning nap at church. When I was feeding her during Relief Society she passed out. It didn't last long, but it was so sweet to hold her in my arms like that.
Crazy hair day!
Volleyball day in the sports class. Abby rocked at volleyball. So much so that the coach came over and told me we should look for a volleyball team for her! It was so fun to watch. I can't wait to see what my sweet girls grow up and devote themselves to.
Jane missed her morning nap to go to the sports class. She fell asleep on me again one day. I would have just held her all day if I could have. Such a sweet baby.
Its always fun to check on the girls before Kyle and I head to bed. The fall asleep making huge messes and leave the light on. I love how much fun they have together.
Abby said they were camping, looking at stars and eating fruit snacks. They make up the cutest games together.
She carried these jingle bells around all day and it was awesome. I could always find her!
I had two friends that had their birthdays one day apart so we had a birthday party/play date. I made this super yummy cake. Devils food cake, buttercream frosting and a chocolate ganache topping. So yummy!
It was a beautiful day outside when we had our play date so the kids all played on the patio. They totally emptied a pot of dirt everywhere. All the kids were COVERED in dirt. It made me happy. Those are the things a good childhood is made of.
How cute is that baby! Jane in Abby's first Easter Dress.
It was a pretty awesome February but I look forward to warmer Februarys from here on out!
