May was cold and rainy! It seriously rained and rained and rained. All day every day. It felt like we lived in Oregon or Washington. I was so grateful that we chose to go to dental school in Colorado and not Oregon. I don't think I would have survived 4 years of that weather!
Because it was so wet, everything is gorgeously green now! And we have lots of mosquitos. Not cool. We still managed to have a lot of fun and get a lot done. Little Jane has changed so much and Abby and Jules are still the cutest.
^^ First time at church. 2 and a half weeks old. This was the only week she was able to wear this dress. She grew right out of it!
It was sweet Abby's Birthday!
This was the birthday set up.
To say she was a little excited about her birthday would be a huge understatement.
She loved her gifts! Especially the glider bike. And she has already learned to ride it so well. I can't believe we will have her on a two wheeler before we know it!
The best part of the day was when she ran into our room and woke us up. I asked her if she had seen her gifts and she said "I opened them!" And she had opened almost all of them before anyone even woke up. Ha ha. It was a good relaxed day after that. Her birthday was on memorial day this year so we kept it pretty low key.
She was a very big fan of her "pepper" cake. The girls are really into 101 dalmatians right now. So the cake was a big hit. I love birthday cake and ice cream!
^^ First real bath. She loves the bath!
^^ Hanging out with my sweet big girl. She is the best big sister.
^^ These two love to hold baby Jane. Jane isn't a big fan.
^^ Sweetest little baby. She likes to be wrapped up and when she isn't wrapped up she holds her hands close to her.
^^ seriously? How cute are these two best friends? The picture is blurry because they won't hold still... ever.
^^ sweet smiles!
^^ Chins
^^ Sweet loving Jules. She is always loving and hugging and kissing one of us. Abby isn't as big a fan of hugging. It causes some pretty big fights in our house. When Juliet decides she is going to hug you, she is going to hug you. There isn't anything you can do about it.
^^ Reading together.
^^ He is pretty cool. Doing Endo with some pretty cool equipment.
^^ Sleeping with baby Jane. This is the best when it happens.

^^ The highlight of May was going to the Air Show. It started out with quite the adventure. The place where they were having the airshow was only 30 minutes from our house. But we were stopped on the freeway for almost an hour and only moved maybe 100 yards. If we kept moving the way that we were, there was no way we would make it in to the entrance in time to see the Thunderbirds. We were already missing most of the airshow sitting on the road. Luckily, Kyle had decided to take the 470 with multiple exits instead of the back road that has only 2 lanes. So we were able to scoot around the traffic and found an awesome spot with a fantastic view of the airshow. The Thunderbirds were incredible. Easily one the coolest things I have ever seen. They were so loud and so incredibly talented! They flew right over us. Of course sweet little Jane slept through the whole thing with her noise canceling head phones. It was the perfect day too. Blue sky and gorgeous sunshine. A slight breeze kept it from being hot, and because of this I got my very first sunburn! Everyone else had a lot of sunscreen on, and I didn't. It wasn't too bad and now my arms are actually tan. So I would say it worked out. This was towards the end of the month when things finally started heating up. :)
The traffic was so bad because they oversold the airshow by thousands. The venue couldn't handle that amount of people and it shut down all the roads. The parking lot was completely full and they started turning people away. We had pre-purchased our tickets and weren't able to use them. Luckily there was so much outrage that they decided to refund all unused tickets! So we got to see it for free. It was one of the best things ever!
^^ sweet little friends. Luckily they get along most of the time. I hope they are always close. Their personalities compliment each other really well and they are so sweet to each other.
^^ All three together! Aren't they beautiful?!
^^ Abby making roads for her cars. She has the best imagination!
^^ This what we woke up to on Mothers day! Happy mothers day to me. The best part was that they had to cancel church in the morning because the snow plows weren't ready to go out. But then by that night, it was all melted! So we got to enjoy a fun day together home as a family.
^^ Mothers day nap with my little baby.
^^ Abby and Kyle build a snowman and then we made Snow Cream. It was delicious!
^^ My mothers day dinner! It was delicious!
^^ Kyle started his first ACTS rotation on the other side of Denver at a Denver health clinic. It has been fun for him. Its a slower rotation as far as ACTS sites go. But he is still getting to do more than he would at the school. Its been fun for him to do many different things in one day. He'll go from a filling to an exam to an extraction. It will help him get his speed up! It makes him excited to graduate and be a dentist. In less than a year!
^^ Two little stinkers that won't go to bed. They are doing much better at going to sleep now. Its been nice since it warmed up we spend so much time outside that they are exhausted and pass out.
^^ My Sunday mothers day picture a week late. I love these three little girls.
^^ Tim had a random overnight in Denver. It was such a nice surprise! The girls were in heaven. Especially when they got to go to his hotel room and jump on the bed. We went to dinner too and it was so fun! As were leaving the hotel Abby started crying and said "I didn't get to hug grandpa!" It was so sweet so we rolled down the window and called Tim back. Got Abby out and let her hug grandpa. She was still sad when we pulled away, but at least she got her hug.
^^ Kyle and I can't get enough of this. We don't stage these pictures!
^^ If that smile and those chins don't make you happy, I don't know what will!
^^ Beautiful family walk. We love where we live!
^^ Triple rainbow! The girls loved it!
^^ I love my girls!
^^ Another picture from our seat at the airshow
^^ Juliet has been so scared of Baymax from Big Hero 6 since we watched a special preview in Disneyland. If she even sees a picture of him she loses it. But everyone kept telling us how cute it was. So we finally rented it, popped some popcorn and watched it. The first time Baymax came on the screen she was nervous. But we sweet talked about him and then Baymax pulled out a lollipop to give to Hero and Jules was in love. She loved the movie! It was really cute. Successful family movie night.
^^ How gorgeous is this?! We are soaking up every second of this. Its our last summer! Our last summer!
