October

These pictures uploaded a little out of order which is kind of frustrating. October was a very exciting month. Still warm, but cool enough to start living outside again. We finally were able to really start enjoying our backyard! We went looking for fall in the mountains. We decorated for Halloween and did all kinds of Halloween festivities. We love the holidays in our family!

We borrowed my parents screen and protector to watch Toy Story 4 in our backyard. It was a really fun night. I had all kinds of candy and popcorn for the kids.

We went on a hike in Payton looking for fall leaves. We went a little too early, but we did find a few!

We ran through the sprinklers and played duck duck goose with buckets of water. I love watching these girls have fun together.

We had the Cordner’s over for a “spooky Dinner”. We had homemade chicken noodle soup, fresh baked bread and a fun spooky dessert. We had a donut eating contest which was super fun.

I always love the costume parade!

Look at that happy face!

Getting ready to head out trick or treating

Our trunk won 1st place at the Trunk or Treat!

I just love this picture of her smiling. Her little note she wrote on the couch with her cute letters. She is adorable.

Making sugar cookies.

I threw a baby shower for our relief society president in our back yard. It was the best day!

More of our hike! Look at those yellow leaves sprinkling in through the trees!

Our Spooky dinner dessert

The food displays for the baby shower

Dress ups all day every day

I love these girls! Eliza hated hated hated the hiking back pack. It was all I could do to keep her in there. The second half she mostly walked or Kyle carried her.

I love these selfies. I love having them all wrapped around me.

Picking out our pumpkins!

Trick or treating! Eliza loved it. She was really getting the hang of it, although we couldn’t get her to say trick or treat. Or thank you. She’ll get there.

Me... all October.

Our traditional tent in the family room for conference

One of my all time favorite pictures. I adore this family of mine.

Lady Bug and Cat Noir!

Sweetest little baby at the school carnival

Waiting for everyone to come to our movie night!

The candy haul!

It was Abby’s first women’s conference! I had so much fun taking her and watching her take notes/draw pictures in her little journal. Then we went to dinner with Mema, Halee and Nettie. I was so excited to share this experience with her. It was an incredible conference.

These are the days.

Our Halloween dinner.

Trick or treating!

Abby got it in her head that she wanted to make stuffed animals. So everyone went out and picked out a fabric and I helped her sew them. She traced the patter and cut them out. I used the machine to sew them, then she stuffed them and hand sewed the bottom closed. They turned out so cute!

We finished the first Harry Potter book and watched the movie. This started a reading marathon. We read the next two books and watched the movies. I love how much they all look forward to reading every single night. Now we are reading Fablehaven.

Getting our teeth cleaned at Daddy’s office!

This girl and her poses!

The new young women’s theme. Its such a good one.

The finished stuffed animals

I had a cute sign in book and encouraging words for the mom to be.

Menchies! The girls absolute favorite ice cream place. Me and Kyle not so much.

I was Snow White for the trunk or treat.

The cake I made for the spooky dinner at my parents house!
