May 2016

Here are is the monthly photo dump from May. In between the packing, moving and general celebrating we did a lot of other fun stuff. May was one of those months that I wanted to soak up every moment and I wanted it to be over as soon as possible. Its so funny to feel both of those emotions so strongly. Jane was feeling so much better in May and it was so wonderful to have our sweet baby back.

Sad Jules. Her sad face can break your heart!

We had so much fun playing outside and watching all the green sneak back into the world. Spring really is magical.

Mothers Day 2016. I am so blessed! Kyle and I both spoke in church on Mother's Day. It was a fun experience. Kyle rocked it. He is the sweetest man. We are the luckiest girls in the world.

Kyle and I were both able to get to the temple in the last few weeks. It was wonderful to get in the Denver Temple one last time. All temples are so beautiful.

We made it to one last Rockies game. It was pretty fun. It was a beautiful day. Abby and Jules were more obsessed with eating as many snacks as possible than they were in actually paying attention to the game. But we still had a good time. The girls are all at really fun ages. Family outings are getting more and more fun.

We had to go one last time to our favorite park in Reunion. We seriously love this park.

We went mini golfing. I actually best Kyle! Go me!

I love reading to my girls.

We got so spoiled around graduation. Sean came up from Pueblo and took us GoKart racing. It was so fun! I didn't want to be that girl that really stunk it up when we were racing. And I was pretty good at holding my own. Kyle was of course incredible! We had a blast.

Kyle went to TopGolf with his dental school friends. He is really going to miss those guys. He didn't get a picture of them all together but he took a picture of the food the got. That sounds about right. Ha Ha!

Kyle and I ran a 5k at the school. Just the two of us. It was so much fun! We ran our little hearts out. It was my fastest 5k ever! It felt amazing. I love running.

We took lots of long walks enjoying that view behind our house.

We went to Vail with Tim and Kelly. That was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the pool and walking through the mountains and Vail Village. I love Vail. I'm going to miss them like crazy.

My sweet baby starting to smile again at the beginning of May.

Juliet is the best to just lay down and take a nap when she needs it.

Abby is the best big sister. She was made to be the oldest and she plays the role very well. We love you Abby!

Team Brown eyes got up early one morning and snuggled with me. I love them.

I think these two are going to become good buddies while Abby is in school. Jane just adores both her big sisters.

Well... sometimes. ;)

We had an outdoor picnic one day.

Juliet bit the heads off of a bunch of dolls one day. Really creepy. And then I taped Anna's head to Elsa's hand. I thought I was pretty funny. Ha ha!

Piggy tails! She is seriously the cutest.

The twins got baptized Mothers Day weekend so my grandparents and Aunt Janeen came out to Colorado. We had mothers day dinner at Jolene's house. It was so fun! Rhubarb pie for the win!! We sent this picture to my mom. Just to rub it in a little bit.

More pictures from the Rockies game.

I love Jane's face in this picture. The cotton candy was a big hit.

More pictures from our fun night at the park in Reunion.

Our family after mini golfing.

Eating dinner! I can't get over these sweet girls. Life is good with them.

This little baby loves being outside. I loved seeing her little hand prints on the concrete.

Eating popcorn and watching a movie together.

The starting line at the 5k.

My average pace, and mile splits! Its a little off because I didn't stop it right after I crossed. I forgot for a minute or so.

Snuggling in bed one morning in Vail. Its a lot easier to fit all of us in King bed then it is in our small queen bed.

The view from our room!

I was able to have a really fun shower for Kaity at Maggianos. It was fun to get everyone together and celebrate Kaity and her baby girl!

And one last sweet picture of my darling baby. She is the sweetest!

May was a great month. Our last in Colorado and it did not disappoint!

Moving

Moving away was really weird. I was so incredibly exciting, and so incredibly sad! We have changed so much as a family since we moved to Colorado. I feel like I changed the most. I feel like I grew so much as an individual. When we moved to Colorado I was so shy and very much lacking in self confidence. And while I still have a lot of growing to do I feel like I learned so much about myself these past four years. I learned how to be a better friend. I learned how to reach out. I learned how when I am having a rough time the best thing I can do is serve others. I've learned that if I'm lonely the only one that can fix it is me. I learned that I am so much stronger than I ever realized I could be. Both physically and emotionally. For the first time in my life I've really learned how important personal scripture study is. I feel like I've really started to develop my relationship with my Savior. Its been a really incredible journey. I still have so much learning and growing to do, but now I look forward to it. Change hurts, but its so good! I'm so excited for the new challenges we'll face as we move and settle into a new life. We'll get out of it what we put into it.

These pictures were taken right as we moved in and right before we moved out. So different! Its amazing how much can happen in four short years!

Every inch of that moving truck was filled. And my car and Kyle's Car. Ha ha! Very different from when we moved up there.

So fun to explore the house when its empty.

An then we had to say our goodbyes. Not an easy thing to do. These pictures are from saying good bye to the Fredricksons. They are such awesome friends. It was so sad to say goodbye. I didn't get any last pictures of saying goodbye to the Ingoldsbys or the Bendixsens. Those were rough as well. We loved all of our people!

And then we had a two day drive to Arizona. The girls did amazing. Jane never threw up! Which was awesome. Kelly and I had such a great time chatting the entire way. It went by so fast. It ended with a bang. Juliet pooped her pants as we were coming up on Power road. Ha ha. So I didn't really get to take in our beautiful home as we pulled up. It was mad dash to the bathroom to get Jules in the tub and clean up all the poop. That is so my life though. So it felt appropriate!

Bring it on AZ! We are ready!
