little moments

I have seriously neglected this blog. It breaks my heart! I love having these memories to look back on.

2019 has been busy for sure. We have some big things that we are tackling. All of us are learning a little more about ourselves and we're struggling to make things work.  Life is for sure full of ups and downs.

Here are all of the wonderful moments so far this year.

This sweet baby is the biggest blessing. We all adore her and she adores everyone right back. She loves her family so much! Her affection is the best.

we love feeding the ducks at discovery park!

Juliet is really good at selfies! These two sweet girls are growing so fast. They are leaders and the are so loyal and wonderful. I am so grateful to have them to help me here at home.

These silly girls will not sleep unless they are all together. They just rotate rooms.

Always something every day to make me smile!!

We love going to daddy's office to get our teeth cleaned.

I love these two women. They do so much for me. I seriously don't know how I would have done this past year without them.

This crawling baby loves to move, move, move. She has ruined so many pajamas and every single pair of pants. She needs to start walking.

This sweet girls is full of so many big emotions. We are struggling to learn how to handle it. She has been getting better and better every month.

our super fun and full of life Juliet! She is always doing something to make us smile and laugh.

Juliet's 100 days of school. She was so excited about her costume, even though its wasn't super old ladyish. I love how excited she gets about things, even when they aren't perfect. Its good for my perfectionist thinking.

I love these girls! Its so fun to be their mom.

Jane always helps me close the garage. So creative and helpful!

Kyle and Abby went to the Phoenix Open. Abby had so much fun with Kyle. Tony Finou even signed her hat! I really hope she keeps up with golfing. She has some natural talent and I think she could really succeed in it.

I got in WAY over my head with a valentines craft.

but they turned out so cute!

Family hike! All the way to the tippy top of the mountain. I was so proud of these hard working girls.

We've been losing teeth like crazy over here.

Abby writes the best notes and puts them on her door. These ones showed up after she got in trouble for fighting with her sisters.

I ran my 8th half marathon!!

This girl create the most amazing things.

Valentines Sunday!

Family home evening is the best!

Our favorite valentines tradition, chocolate strawberries!

Our traditional valentines family dinner.

Food truck night!

Abby had her first recognition night for Activity Days.  It was pretty fun to be there with her. She is incredibly talented. She painted the little bee on the table behind her.

Abby makes the best notes to put on her door to let us know what mood she is.

Halee comes over to play with us when she is bored! We love it!

My life is a mess. 99% percent of the time.

I threw a baby shower to Daniela. It was so much fun celebrating her and baby girl!

We love going to Halee's basketball games!

Best daddy ever

We had a very very successful lemonade stand. I taught the girls the importance of presentation. Abby wrapped up and tied the ribbon on each cookie bag. They worked together to pour the lemonade in the cups. We had ice, lemonade, straw and umbrella to put in each cup. The girls ended up making $60 in an hour.... I had never head of anything like that. We totally sold out of cookies and lemonade. It was good experience for them.

Of course that money was burning a hole in their pockets so we had to run off to spend it immediately.

Every time I have to send a waterbottle or lunch with their names on it I write them a cute note. They all really like it.

So gross! Painting with yogurt. Every morning.

Supportive sisters and a very excited 4 year old. She was so excited to get birthday cards in the mail.

Teething stinks.

baby mozart heals everything

This kid is beautiful!

I love, love, love her long hair!!

I love this kid!

Poor thing had a random bad allergy attack and had to miss preschool

I was able to meet up with my roommates from BYU. I haven't seen them in over 10 years. It was amazing to get to catch up with them!

Eliza is one!

Oh my sweet Eliza. Are you seriously a year old? Where did the time go??

You are the sweetest baby. If all babies were as sweet as you everyone would have 100 of them. I feel so bad that I haven't kept up on blogging this past year of your life. It is has seriously been a blur.
The joy you have brought to this family has been such a blessing.

You are beyond adored by your sisters. The first few months after you were born people would ask if the "newness" had worn off and if their interest in you had subsided a bit. No, their interest and love of you has only grown. They include you when they play in the loft. They want to hold you and carry you around. They can't stand it if you are sad. They will give you snacks, toys, and dance around to make you smile. You adore them too. You give them the sweetest hugs and pat them on the back. You get so excited when you wake up from your nap and hear their voices.

You are pretty obsessed with me (the feeling is very mutual). You will let people hold you and be totally content, until you see me. Then all bets are off and you want your mom.

You love to explore our house. You love to unload all the cabinets in the kitchen while I'm cooking or cleaning. You just move from one to the next and unload.

You love music! You dance so cute during singing time in primary. You love it when we sing "Old McDonald" in the car.
Speaking of the car. Its not your favorite. If we drive more than 20 minutes or if we stop at too many stop lights you start to lose your mind a little bit.

You love veggie straws and goldfish. You turn your nose up at off brand puffs. You do not like formula or Whole milk. So we're trying to figure that out. You are my pickiest eater at this age.

Your favorite spot in the house is the loft. You love all the different things to dump out, explore and stick in your mouth. Luckily you are really good at spitting out whatever is in your mouth. Unless its an old goldfish you've found, then you will not open your mouth for anything!

I am still nursing you, you are close to setting the record for longest nursed baby. I still nurse you to sleep before your nap everyday. I am pretty sure you don't need that anymore, but I can't stop. Having you fall asleep on me and snuggling you close every day is the best. After a crazy morning of being so, so busy I just sit and hold you close. I look at your sweet baby chubbiness and just drink you in. You are changing so fast and I just want to hold onto every second.

Eliza you are so precious to all of us. Don't you ever forget it. You are an important part of our team already! Thank you for brining so much love, laughter and a ridiculous amount of cuteness into our home.

Love,

Dad, Mom, Abby, Juliet and Jane.
