November

November was great!!

Juliet finished up her Soccer season! She was amazing. I love our soccer girl. She was such an amazing team player. She just makes everyone laugh and smile.

Eliza hit 8 months!!! She is such a sweet baby. She sleeps great at night. She goes down about 8:30 and wakes up around 7:30. She naps twice a day. Her morning nap is 9:30-12:00 and her afternoon nap is 3:00-5:00. She eats great, other than the fact that she decided bottles are now the worst. Thats been making life tricky. She won't even give formula a chance, now she won't have pumped bottle either. She loves her sisters so much. Its the cutest things. She is getting so so close to crawling! We are so excited for her to get moving.

Thanksgiving was so much fun! We had two thanksgivings. We were able to host Thanksgiving for the Cordner siblings at our house. We had Sean and Angell, Ty, Daniela and her sister Maya, Tara and Joseph and us! I had so much fun hosting. I love decorating so I had a blast putting it all together. The kids table was so fun. It had these cute little turkeys I made for the name place cards. I used butcher paper on their table so they could color while they ate. I also put a bunch of snacks on their table because I know my kids never eat the actual food but I didn't want them begging for food. We all had a blast! We had to do it a few days early because Sean and Angell had to head back to Colorado on Thanksgiving.

Actual Thanksgiving was at my parents house. It was so much fun! The food was amazing and we had a good time eating and hanging out.

The weekend after Thanksgiving Kyle and were able to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! 10 years! We had the cordner family thanksgiving on our actual anniversary. We went to the Melting Pot which was fun. If we ever went there again it would be for just appetizers and dessert. The main dish was not that great. But the appetizers and dessert were AMAZING!!!
I can't believe its been 10 years. Its been an amazing ride and we can't wait to see where the next 10 years take us.

Because we were hosting Thanksgiving we had to wait to fully bust out the Christmas decorations. Our Christmas tree did sneak up in the living room. The day after our Cordner Thanksgiving Christmas threw up on our house. We were so ready!!

Juliet's cheering section

Halee taught the girls the first article of faith for a personal progress goal.

We finally put pictures in our frames! It looks so good!

I mailed my first package!! I had to have Kaity talk me through the whole process. I really wanted to make sure lacee got a Christmas package from us.

Muffins with mom! It was bananas. It was for the entire school, which was nuts. But it was fun!

we love checking out Christmas decorations at all the different malls.

We played with a little puppy at the store. We are never getting a puppy. But its kind of fun to pretend.

We did our Thankful tree. This just gets better and better. I love these sweet girls!

Eliza started scooting toward Abby and getting into her coloring stuff. She was so patient with her. Its really cute. We all have a big soft spot for Eliza.

These three are inseparable.

Kids table!

Adults table

Lots of good food!

Abby's leaves were my favorite this year. "I love Lacee, she is the best"

"I am eating the things that mom makes" She is always so sweet and grateful for the food I make.

One of Jane's leaves

The girls loved all the baking they got to do with me!

Reading stories by the Christmas tree = magic!

I did a 6 mile run with friends on Thanksgiving morning. This is one of my favorite things to do. The sunrise with the temple is the best!

Our kitchen before everyone came for dinner. I seriously love this house and our kitchen.

We loved getting out the house lots to play at the park and go for walks. We are loving all the cooler weather!

September and October

The only things I really remember from September and October was how miserably long the kitchen and baseboards took to get finished!! These two months were so so so long. We had little to no access to the kitchen. The entire house was covered in SO MUCH dust! We had some big hiccups and a lot of worry. But it all came together just in time for us to have our spooky dinner the week before Halloween. It was really hard to get into the halloween spirit with our house torn to pieces. We redid the baseboards throughout the entire downstairs so the whole house was a mess.

At the end of September Kyle surprised me with a family trip to Durango. We had been promised that the baseboards and most of the kitchen would be finished by the time we got home. That didn't happen. But it was so nice to get out and not be living in a remodel.

The girls did great on the drive! Our VRBO was incredible. It was on this gorgeous golf course up in the mountains. All the fall colors were amazing. We went to a yummy pizza place our first night there. The next day we explored downtown durango. We had yummy food and checked out all the fun shops.
Saturday we rode the train to a really cute pumpkin patch. That was the highlight of the trip. The train so fun! The views were amazing. The pumpkin patch was so cute. There were all kinds of activities and the girls each were able to get a cute pumpkin. Then the train took us back into town. That night we went to one of the top 5 restraunts I've ever been to. It was a farm to table place and the food was amazing. It had a Joe's farmhouse feel. All outdoors and games for the kids to play. The view was incredible too. I still crave those sandwiches.

The drive home went really well too. We tried to listen to conference as much as we could. We missed the monumental announcement the day before about the switch to 2 hour church! We were so excited about that. We were able to catch President Nelson announce 12 new temples!!
We stopped at 4 corners on our way home. That was pretty cool. Luckily there weren't hardly any people there so were able to get a picture. I stood in Utah, Abby and Eliza in Arizona and Juliet and Jane in Colorado. All of our birth states!

Kyle and I got to go on double date with Ty and Daniella! That was so fun, especially because they told us they were pregnant! So excited for their baby girl!

The weather finally started to really cool off in October. We loved being able to play outside again!

The hardest thing that happened in October was saying good bye to our Lacee. I took Abby, Jules and Jane to say goodbye to her at the airport. It was really emotional. I am so proud of her!!

Juliet started playing Soccer. That was an absolute blast! She was amazing. Her good attitude is contagious. She only scored one goal all season and it was in the first game. My favorite thing is every time someone fell down, whether it was her team mate or not, she would stop and help them stand up. She would even dust the grass off of them. I love her tender spirit. She is so nurturing.

The girls had the daddy daughter dance. It was so much fun! I was able to go and take pictures at the Photo Booth. Kyle is the best dad to his girls. They are so lucky.

We finished out with the ward trunk or treat and halloween. The girls did so well trick or treating! Holidays just get more and more fun!

Now for all the pictures!

My beautiful Jane.

All sleeping together again.

This baby. I am so sad I didn't keep a month by month journal about her first year. She has been a dream. She is so happy. She brings me so much joy. All of us are smitten with her.

Torn up kitchen.

repainting the island!

One night we needed to get some tile samples at floor and decor. We couldn't use our kitchen so we went out to eat. (We all gained so much weight eating out so much. It was awful!!!)
We decided to go to fudruckers because it was right by the flooring store. The girls absolutely loved it! It was a really fun night, one of my favorite memories of those little girls.

The daddy daughter dance was 50s themed. I couldn't resist. I made everyone matching poodle skirts.

My whole world!

This girl and her legos. I love it!

My girls love babies. They love to nurture. They are always dying to hold the babies.

Our fast a cheetah soccer girl!

Slowly but surely getting the kitchen put back together.

The days I can convince this very emotional 3 year old to take a nap are good days.

I took this picture for Nettie, she put it on a pillow case for Lacee to take on her mission. Her 5 favorite things!

I love these girls!

We stopped for lunch at McDonalds on our way to Durango. The girls were more excited for that than anything else.

I played a lot of peekaboo with this girl on our drive. A lot of peekaboo.

After dinner picture in Durango.

Downtown durango

Abby made this sign and these lanterns for me and Kyle. The sign says "you are as sweet as honey and you are the best of all". I love her sweetness.

I was finally able to my decorations up!! For less than 2 weeks. But it was better than nothing.

Finished kitchen!! we did have to buy a new table. They damaged ours in the renovation process. It wasn't too bad though, our new table is amazing!!

We love the new bar top!! The girls eat their breakfast and lunch there every day. We love it!

Playing at the park for days!

This picture was a huge low point in the kitchen. We were almost done. The last thing was the backsplash. When they started laying the straight line of the subway backsplash we found out they hadn't installed the new cabinets and countertops level. you can see that lowest line of subway tile. It got bigger and bigger as it went back toward the fridge. It started out really thing maybe a quarter of an inch, but ended at over an inch gap. They kept telling me it was "level" because the bubble was in-between the two lines. But it is definitely leaning towards the one line. Kyle and I took a marble and dropped it on the island. It would bounce for a second and then stop because the counters were level. Then we would drop the marble on these counters would roll straight down towards the fridge, getting faster and faster.

They were giving me a hard time about fixing it until I showed them that. They got a lot more humble after that. There was no arguing with that marble. The counter tops were not level. Luckily they were able to fix them and now the backsplash looks much better!

Spooky dinner with the Cordners and Halee and Tragdon.

I asked Kyle to get their church shoes on. He just told them to put shoes on. This is how we ended up at church. Dirty mismatched flip flops and shoes on the wrong feet.

We went to a gender reveal party at Ty and Daniela's. Juliet was smitten with their dog Aspen.

The girls loved my after school halloween snack.

best ever kindergarten picture.

Halloween sugar cookies!

Before church picture. At least 3 out of 4 are smiling.

We carved pumpkins!

Jane was in the cutest dance class! They did a little halloween performance. It was the best!

I made little halloween treat bags with candied popcorn for the patients at shalimar on halloween.

Halloween costumes 2018. Ariel, Belle, Princess Leia, and a lady bug.

Abby and grace at the school halloween costume parade
