August

August was a crazy and up and down month. It started out in Vail and with my Great Grandpa's funeral and then it was back to school for Kyle. The start of his final year of school! Crazy!

These pictures are all over the place!

The girls have been working hard to fill up they warm fuzzy jars. Every time they make a good choice they get to put a warm fuzzy in their jars. When they got them filled they got to ride the train and the mall. It didn't disappoint. The girls had a great time. The conductor was a cute, sweet old man. We cruised all over the mall and Juliet smiled and waved at everyone. So fun! Now they are working to fill them up again, and I think they are going to want to ride the train again when they are filled up. I'm cool with it. It was very entertaining.

Juliet's awesome excited face!

Juliet was 100% not happy about having to leave the train. She threw the biggest tantrum. I just had to scoop her up and drag her out. But look at how blond her hair is! It is getting lighter and lighter. We have spent so much time in the sun so that has really bleached it this summer.

This sweet little Juliet had a rough month. She bit a boy really bad at the park. In her defense he was trying to take something from her, and he is much bigger than her. But still its not ok to bite. The next night we were at Kyle's LDS dental academy dinner. Jules bit two little boys. I lost it. I've probably never been that mad at any of kids. We left the dinner, I yelled at her pretty good the whole way home. Then put her in her PJs and put her to bed at 7:00. Then the next day we went to the park with friends again and we talked about being nice over and over and over again. And she didn't bite anyone! When we left I talked about how proud we were of her. We called daddy and told him how nice she was. And since then we have talked a lot about being nice and making nice choices. Being kind to our friends and how we NEVER bite. She never just walks up and bites someone, she is always frustrated in someway or protecting herself or Abby. I'm just trying to figure out a way to teach her to deal with frustration that doesn't involve biting. She is the sweetest little girl. She is quick to tell you she loves you and give hugs and kisses. She adores her sisters and everyone in her family. Being two is just hard sometimes.

The last first day of school picture!! I seriously can't believe we have come this far. I love this man. I am so proud of him!

Silly antics in the Grocery store. Sometimes taking these three out can be crazy. They are usually very good, but they are little kids with lots and lots of energy. I have started getting up before Kyle goes to school to get all of my grocery shopping done. That way we can go out and do fun things during the day.

Abby is the BEST big sister. For so many reasons. But this is one of my favorites. She loves reading stories to her sisters.

This was the most relaxing trip to target ever. They both rode under here the entire time. I browsed all over the store and got to take my time without feeling stressed. It was awesome.

Jules is the best at taking a nap when she is tired. She doesn't do it every day. But when she is tired she will find a good spot and pass out.

Cute little goof balls.

We attempted one half day of potty training with Jules. She sat on the toilet all day. All. Day. But she wouldn't go to the bathroom. She held it. All. Day. It was not fun. So we are going to wait. a few months. or years. If she would stop taking her diaper off and wiping her poopy bum on the carpet it wouldn't be so bad. Little stinker.

But she is seriously the cutest. She is very lucky that she is so cute.

I brought Jane to a meeting with me once. She was the sweetest baby. she rolled around the floor and played quietly. I almost forgot that she was there! She is the best!

I took this picture of Jules while I was trying on clothes. As I was trying on clothes I smelled cough drops. I thought that was weird, and then I looked down and there was jules chowing down on a cough drop that someone had spit out and left on the floor. I just about threw up. I'm serious this kid is the cutest kid, but she is giving me a run for my money!

Getting ready for our morning routine. I love all of the hugs and smiles I get at the start of each day. I am the luckiest mom in the world.

Trying to take a nap at the park while sisters played. I promise she was very happy and comfortable even though her face doesn't really show it. She is the best baby.

There are these HUGE sunflower fields just East of us. We drove out there one day to check them out. They were so cool. These are the real sunflowers that make sunflower seeds. You could see them starting to pop out of the middle of the flowers. So cool.

They go for miles in all directions. So cool! And its right under where the airplanes come in. So we watched plane after plane come in.

Nasty bugs that were climbing all over all of them .

My goofy Abby. She always has us laughing.

Sweet Abby being the best big sister! She can always make Jane happy. She makes sure Jane is involved in everything we do. She sings this cute song in the car when jane starts crying to get her to calm down. It works every time.

All three of these girls are the best friends. Jane loves watching her sisters and smiles at them all the time. Jules and Abby are always taking care of her and playing with her. Its been so neat to watch them learn and grow together. I pray every day that they stay best friends. That they will always love, support an look out for one another.

A couple of weeks ago I attempted one of Kyle's favorite dishes from his mission. Bacalhau abras. It was really really yummy! I was proud of myself for pulling it all together, and Kyle said it tastes just like he remembered.

We went and met daddy for lunch at the school. Its so fun to meet the people he works with and see him in his element.

We have gone to a ton of different parks. We know summer will be coming to a close soon and we are trying to enjoy every second of being outside that we can.  This is one of our favorite parks. Its about 15 minutes north of where we live. It has a big lake and a really fun playground.

Super cute little baby in the tub. She loves tubby time!

We went to the splashed a few times before it closed down for the season. The girls loved it! Even Juliet would get in and cruise around. It was so fun.

Abby loves to hold baby Jane. When we are at church and other people hold Jane, Abby gets really jealous and wants her back.

This was my view one morning while I was nursing Jane. I have such sweet beautiful girls! I really hope to pass my intense love of reading on to them!

I had to take a picture of this sweet swaddled baby when I went in to wake her up from her nap. She sleeps so well. She is struggling with her afternoon nap, but I think I'm starting to figure her out.

I gave abby "minnie mouse" hair one day. She loved it.

This was right over the school one day. And then there were two spotted on the East side of our neighborhood. So that was fun. Lots of sirens going off that day. Not my favorite thing in the world. Especially since I had just laid Jane down and Jules was already sleeping.

A picture of Jules in her big girl panties. She looked adorable. I can't wait to try again in a few months. Or years.

Sweet little baby smiling and being happy even though she got shots that day. She is a healthy growing baby girl.

Being cute and sweet while we play at the park.

Another picture from the park in Reunion. It was a beautiful night and a gorgeous sunset!

I can't get enough of this baby. And her double chin and rolly polly arms and legs.

How cool is the sun in this picture? I love where we live. It is gorgeous all of the time!

Oh and I ran a half marathon. That was pretty cool! I had some pretty bad shin splints and a TERRIBLE blister before we even started the race. So it was rough. Then the majority of the course was up hill. Like really up hill. Seriously 4 miles of switch backs. It was terrible. And it killed me. It broke me. But I finished. I never walked! That was all thanks to my friend Kelsey that ran with me. I am so grateful for her. We had fun training together and racing together. That night we dropped the girls off with a babysitter and went out to dinner with Kelsey and Steven. It was a lot of fun!

Even though it wasn't my fastest time and I struggled a little bit during the run I was still very proud of myself. Little Jane was only just 4 months old. She's my third baby and I was able to run a half marathon! I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight and I feel amazing. I love running and being strong and healthy.

Kyle had to go get some stuff from the school one night before his rotations and we went over with him. We walked over to where they are going to have graduation. How beautiful right? I can't believe that is only 8 and half months away!

Spending more time at the sunflowers. Look at Juliet in her Elsa dress. I love that little girl.

Abby holding Jane so that she can see the TV show that they were watching. Jane loves it when abby gets her up where she can see whats going on.

I check on the girls every night before I go to bed and I had to snap a picture of this one. First off look at Abby on the floor, and still asleep. Ha ha. And then look at all the books they have piled around them. They do that every night. Read books until the fall asleep. I love it!

Cute little baby during church. I love that I can lay out a blanket and put her down while I get things done, or actually listen to the lesson. I know it won't last long because she is going to be on the move before I know it.

More of my sweet little baby in the tub. Thank you Jane for being awesome.

August was crazy and flew by. Bring on September and fall!

Georgetown

We were very spontaneous one Saturday and headed up to Georgetown for a fun little hike. We always drive past Georgetown on our way to Utah and we had no idea what  a cool little town it was. It used to be a mining town I believe and there was lots of cool history. The main street was beautiful! So many historical homes.

The hike was really fun too. It had a big stream that was ice cold! We also found a cool tee pee made out of sticks. The girls were pretty good troopers about it.

I took a selfie while nursing. I want to remember these times where I got to slow down for a second and hold my little babies close. Jane is such a sweet little baby that lets us go do fun things and she is just happy and sweet.

cutest little baby ever! So easy to make her smile and laugh.

I love this little family of mine. Abby is such a character. She is SO shy around people. But when she is with just us she is a goof ball. She talks non stop and always has something fun to say.

I love this husband. I'm so glad he got into school here. It has been such an incredible adventure living in Colorado!

We ate lunch in this delicious Mexican restaurant. It looked like a legit old western saloon. It felt like we stepped right back in history.

Look at the big old bar behind Abby! I half expected to see an old fashion gun fight in there.

Jane was getting a little fussy so we gave her a sweet potato fry. She loved it! I'm excited to start giving her more solids in the next month or so.

Look at that main street. It was full of antique shops and old fashion candy shops.

I love Colorado! We are soaking up these last few days of beautiful Summer weather. Hopefully Fall will be kind... and winter will go fast.
