July

Oh what a month. It's hot. Really hot. And yet we have been having the best time. Moving and setting up a new life is a little overwhelming. But things have been going so well!

The beginning of July was a little rough. Kyle was working a lot, which is great! But I was feeling very overwhelmed. I have been getting my feet under me a lot more and I am loving my life here! Its so so good.

We've been reading a lot of books. When I read these biscuit the puppy books abby says the "woof" parts and its really fun.

One Friday night we put up the tent and watched Zootopia. It was so fun. Jane had so much fun with her sisters. She really thinks she is a big girl.

And she is super cute! She is always so happy and cheesing it up for us. Walking has been awesome for her. She loves it and the freedom it gives her. Its so fun to watch her learn, grow and explore.

We had to take a selfie in from of our house to send to our lender and write a review about them and then they gave us a $100 gift card to Oregenos! We were cool with that. And I really love our house. Once we re-landscape and paint that house it is going to be incredible!!

Abby and her creativity never cease to amaze me!

I love that my arms are always so full of sweet precious spirits! I love these girls and all our snuggles.

Poor little Jules got eaten alive by bugs when we went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so sad!

Kyle and I went out for a date for my birthday! We went to Kona Grill and then drove out to Home Goods to get some stuff for the house. It was so much fun. I love this man of mine, he knows how to make me feel special and loved.

My birthday was on a Sunday this year and I dressed everyone up in coordinating red, white and blue! Well Abby's dress was more of a periwinkle, but it worked. I love America and the 4th of July!

I love my Abby! Birthday snuggles for me.

I have wanted one of these cookie cakes for years. It was a dream come true. It was as delicious as I had always imagined!

I love these two sisters. They are the cutest ever. I mean look at them!

On the 4th of July our ward and a couple of other wards had a pancake breakfast and bike parade. It was way too hot and you had to wait in a big huge line, outside to get your food. So as soon as kyle was done helping make the food we cleared out and went to Bosa donuts for breakfast. It was pretty awesome.

Patriotic hair!

For fireworks we drove over to the Capo Verde parking lot and watched the big fireworks show the huge church over there puts on. It was a pretty good show. Lacee and her friends came with us. I made some snacks and the church that was putting on the show brought around some beach balls so that was fun to pass the time with.

Jules loved the puppy chow! Check out her red little face. It was so hot!

This little stinker. She is the cutest.

My sweet, cute little Jane. Our mornings lately have been fantastic. Jane has been sleeping in until 8 or 8:30. Sometimes even later. Abby and Jules are usually up around 7. I get up at 5 to run and exercise. I have plenty of time in the morning to work out and eat breakfast and read scriptures. Its awesome! By the time the girls get up I am ready for them. Then we take our time eating, getting dressed and doing our chores. It's going to be a lot busier in the mornings once Abby and Juliet starts school.

One day I had the great idea to go swimming at my parents house at 4 in the afternoon. Bad idea. Way too hot. The water was super warm. Kind of gross. But I still couldn't get Abby and Jules to get out!

We've been working on doing chores this past month. Abby is saving money for a bike and I'm trying to get them into a routine of cleaning up after themselves. They have been great! They love to help. We all make a pretty good team.

My Abby is the coolest! She always makes us laugh! She is so shy around other people. She gets so quiet and has a hard time talking and being her cute bubbly self. She was asked to give a talk in primary and wouldn't even face the primary. She jumped in my arms and wouldn't let me put her down. She just buried her head in my neck. It was pretty bad. I really hope we can help her get over that. She is so beautiful and special and I want her to let that light shine.

Sometimes they throw all the toys over the wall in the loft. Its cute and frustrating all at the same time. Luckily they are pretty good about helping clean it up before bed.

One day Jules dipped all her grapes in ketchup and I about threw up. Gross kid!

I made over Abby and Juliet's room. It looks soon different and I am in love. I need to start posting some before and after pictures of the small things we've done in the house.

These two! They are so much alike. So much fun!

Finger painting one afternoon. They love to craft!

Playing in our backyard resort. I love that the simple dollar store toys and WalMart plastic pool can make them so happy. We have fun out there.

Kyle worked some long hours one week so we met up with him for lunch one day. It was a lot of fun. We're excited to do that a lot more.

Jane gives the best kisses!

Valerie gave us some hand me down shirts from ALA and Abby is beyond excited about it. She wants to wear it every single day!

My sweet Juliet got sick one day. It was so weird. She had a small fever and was pretty lethargic but by that night she totally perked up and was fine.

Kyle worked a lot! He was pretty worn out.

We went to the San Tan mall one morning. Its still too hot for that. We didn't stay long.

We made sock puppets one day. The glue I had wasn't working very well. But we still had fun. Abby is excited to start school. She wants to make something almost every single day. She needs to be busier than she is at home.

Juliet took this picture while we were making sock puppets. Juliet couldn't really care less about crafting. But she wants to what Abby is doing. Jules just wants to take pictures with my phone all day.

I let them watch cartoons on the tv in my room while I showered. I love that Jane wants to be just like Jules and Abby.

The heat is wearing us all out!

As I was taking this picture Abby says "Jules we are best friends". They really are, and it is the best.

And I love this little baby! She is so sweet and she loves her family. I love it!

I had to be sneaky about taking this picture of Abby as we were walking into Target. She marches to the beat of her own drum. I love it!

Long story for this picture. I let Abby pick out her new backpack at the Disney store. They were having a big sale on the backpacks and lunch boxes so I though it would be more fun to get it from there than just some random one from Target. There were Elsa and Anna bags, princess bags, little mermaid, and Belle. Some would light up and all were equally tacky. There was one that was pretty cute but it had this random princess all over it. She's from a new Disney Channel animated show called "Elena of Avalor". Even though we had no idea who she was that was the backpack that Abby chose. They gave her a big poster of Elena to take home too. So I decided we should watch the series premiere so that we would have some idea who she was. Elena is hispanic so I got us all in our dresses I bought from Cozumel and we spent our Friday night watching a disney channel princess show with popcorn. Poor Kyle, he is such a good sport when I do these things with the girls. The girls absolutely loved it! Now we're all big fans of Elena.

This sweet Abby. She never stops amazing me. I asked her to make her bed and she made hers and Juliet's without me asking. She has such a kind heart. We are so lucky.

So that pretty much sums up July! It was a good time. We are really loving it here in Arizona. We had some good monsoons! Its going to be amazing when everything starts cooling down. Our ward is awesome, we've met some more neighbors and we love that. I think we are going to be able to build a pretty amazing life here.

June

June was our first month in AZ! We pulled into our new home on June 1st! Its been so wonderful. Its seriously a dream come true. We still keep pinching our selves that all of this is really happening. We love it.

Kyle's first stop as he was driving the moving van was Dr. Pepper with Vanilla from QT.

Waking up for the first time in our new house!

Making slides out of the empty wardrobe boxes. It was a good time!

Could they be any cuter? I took this picture the night before we left on our cruise. I looked at this picture a lot while we were gone. I love these two so much!

My handsome Dentist at work. His license came while we were on our Cruise. So two days after we got back he jumped in and hasn't looked back. He has been rocking it! He loves it and he is so good at it. I have been so proud of him. Although he is working a lot and we really miss him!

Lots of swimming and playing has been wearing Jules out.

How cute is this? Even with Juliet's missing bangs!

Juliet had my phone in the car on the drive to Arizona. I have a bunch of pictures just like these. I wanted to document them so I can remember how cute her little picture always were. She loves to take pictures!

We have loved playing in our backyard. There is so much wonderful potential back there. Its going to be so fun to transform it into what we really want it to be.

Abby is always wanting to make us laugh! She is so funny and so cute! I put Abby in a 4 week summer kindergarten prep class. She blossomed so much in those four weeks. I was so nervous to see how she would react to it, but I shouldn't have worried. She loved it! She can be so shy. She even told me one day after school "I don't really like talking to people". But she loves to learn. Seriously loves it. So she did really well. It got me really excited for her to start kindergarten. I'm scared out of my mind about it too. I am going to miss her so much. I'm so not ready to start this new phase. Can't my kids just stay little and at home forever?!?!

Waking Jane up from a nap so we could pick up Abby from her summer school class. She is the cutest. When we got back from our cruise she wouldn't even let me hold her. She was so mad at me. She wanted anyone but me. She was even ok with Kyle holding her. But not me. That night she woke up screaming at 1:00am. I went and got her and snuggled her for about a half hour. She kept sitting up and smiling at me and talking to me. And then snuggling me. It was wonderful! I put her back down and she went right back to sleep. Then next morning she was back to being my girl. It was nice to be forgiven for leaving.

He let me take a first day of work picture. He looked so professional and amazing. I couldn't be more proud of him.

Dancing, in dress ups while watchign

The girls are loving our new house. Its so big and empty so they have tons of room to run and play.

Jane loves the cupboards. She loves to empty them and crawl in them. The kitchen is so big! The majority of the cupboards are totally empty. Its crazy.

I love these pictures where I can capture them playing. I always want to remember it.

Choosing paint colors for our room. The paint in our house is the most horrible tan color. It looks more pink than anything else. We chose the lighter shade in this picture and it looks AMAZING!! I love it!

I got some free labor to help me paint Abby and Juliet's room. I love the color and it looks so good now that I have the room all put together.

This girl loves to read!

Lots of trips to Home Depot!

Seriously this girl is the coolest!

I painted our room with a fixer upper marathon in the background. It was awesome!

Always hanging on my clothes and always asking me for snacks. They are lucky they are so cute and lucky that I love them so much.

Welcome to our backyard resort! I love summer time!

There is so much space to play in this house! They love it!

Lacee and her friends stopped by one afternoon and played for a little bit. Juliet had fun bossing them around.

Juliet took this picture of us. She said "say seaweed" from octonauts. I love her!

Our first month in Arizona down. And it was pretty awesome. I'm a big fan!
