Christmas Day

Christmas day was perfect! About 6:30 in the morning we could hear the girls starting to wake up. So we got the lights turned on the tree and got ready to start the crazy morning! We went into their room and told them Santa came and they went from being kind of awake to full out awake in a matter of seconds!

The girls were so excited sitting at the top of the stairs. Even Jane was understanding more this year than she did last year. After we said ok come down Abby and Jules booked it downstairs. Jane came down much slower. They were so excited about georgie, minnie and snow puff and Jane's new bike!!

We had a lot of fun opening up stocking stuff and trying out the new Santa toys. Then as it started to get light outside kyle start filming again. Then I said "you guys I think there is something outside". They popped up and saw the trampoline in the back yard. They started freaking out! I had set out their jackets and shoes by the door so they could throw them on and play on the trampoline. I had put a bunch of little ball pit balls on there and they loved that. They were soooooooo excited about it! It was pretty cold outside so we weren't out there for very long.

We headed back in and started in on all the presents under the tree. That was so much fun. We all took turns and the girls were pretty good about it. Jane just wanted to ride her bike, right in the middle of everything. We finally had to banish the bike when she ran over Juliet's foot.

I got Kyle a dart board, guarana, a chipping net, a bunch of new under armor golf shirts and a new belt. Its one of the first years that I think he was actually really excited about all of his gifts. He is SO hard to shop for!

Kyle got me a changeable weight set, a mary kay set, and then blew my mind with a new sewing machine!! I was so surprised. Kyle rocks Christmas. Even when we were in school he always had a surprise up his sleeve. One of my favorite years was when he hid a new pair of earrings in the Christmas tree for me to find. Last year he hid the surprise about the trip to Magnolia Market in Waco in the stockings. This year he surprised me with tickets to see Les Mes and he had the paper wrapped up in santa's sack in one of or decorations. I love him!

After we opened everything the girls jumped on the trampoline for a little bit longer and then we headed to my families house. We opened more presents and had an amazing Christmas breakfast. Then it was off to the Cordners for Christmas Morning round 3. It was so fun getting to be with all the cousins. Then we headed home to change our clothes and get our house pulled back together.

That night we had Christmas dinner at the Cordners. Then pie at my families house and then back home to get some sleep. It was such a fun day with family! We were so lucky to have to so much family in town this year. It really made the season magical.

Seeing the Santa gifts for the first time.

Opening up stocking stuff! They were so excited about every little thing!

Jumping on the trampoline!

Christmas morning aftermath.

Here's the before and after of Christmas Eve vs. Christmas morning

Roasting marshmallows with cousins and grandpa. Tim is the best grandpa. He was in heaven with all his little grand babies and they all just adore him.

One of Georgie's commands is "selfie". So this is Kyle's selfie with him. He he!

Now everyone keeps asking when Christmas is coming again. Not soon enough! We love Christmas!
