Grandpa Lynn's Funeral

Friday morning we headed out to Roosevelt for My Grandpa Lynn's funeral.

It was a beautiful service and I was so glad we were there. It was so fun to see all my family and celebrate Lynn Labrum. I'm named after him and I am his oldest Great Grandchild. I've always felt a special connection to him.

He was a highway patrol man and this awesome vintage patrol car led the procession to the cemetery.

The funeral had military honors and it was really, really neat.

They gave the flag to my uncle Colby who is a Green Beret. It was a very special, touching moment.

I love this picture of my dad and his brother.

These 4 cute little girls are the 5th generation. My cousin Gentry's little girl is a doll. It was fun to get a picture of them all together.

On our way out I had to stop and get a picture at my great grandmothers grave. We were at her funeral but it was too cold to take little new born Juliet to the cemetery so I had never seen her grave.

It was beautiful and I was so glad we were there. Such special memories.

Vail Part 4

We took it easy Wednesday and Thursday.

Kyle went golfing Wednesday morning and had the time of his life. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to go golfing in Vail. I'm really glad he got to go and that he played so well!

When he got back we headed over the lake and rented a paddle board. It was one the funnest things we have ever done! I want one of those so bad. I could have stayed out there all day long. And look at the back drop! It was so much fun. Abby and Jules and a fun time sitting on the front of the board as we took turns paddling them around.

And of course little Jane was awesome. She is such a good baby to let us go do fun things and just be happy and relaxed.

That night after we had dinner we walked back over to the lake where they were having a concert in the park. There were food trucks... so we had to check it out.

We let the girls go in this bounce house, and then I had to go in after them to get them out. It was terrible. Then they both threw HUGE fits. It was so bad. So we told them they wouldn't get any treats. Abby earned her treat back by making good choices. Juliet... not so much. That little 2 year is a difficult kid. The cutest difficult kid.

Delicious donuts from the food truck.

Thursday we went back to Vail village and had lunch and got some fun treats!

That night we walked over to a restaurant by our hotel. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible!! Once we all had our bellies full the night got a lot better.

These pictures are a little out of order.

Kyle golfing!

Ice cream and riding the bus in Vail Village. We rode the bus the entire way around so that little Jules would be happy. She still fought us tooth and nail when it was time to get off.

After dinner on Thursday we walked down to the river that I ran along everyday. It was so fun to put our feet in the water.

I call Abby the stick queen. She has an ability to find the coolest sticks. I love this picture because you can see how happy she is and how much fun she is having.

It was such a beautiful trip. It was hard and exhausting with three little girls (namely a certain 2 year old). But it was totally worth it. We love this state and are so grateful we were able to spend time exploring it.

Vail pt. 3 (top of the mountain)

On Tuesday we rode the gondola up to the top of the mountain. The first time we rode the gondola the girls were kind of nervous. But we ended up riding it 10 times and they really warmed up to it and didn't ever want to get off.

The view from the top was absolutely incredible. We hadn't ever seen anything like it before. You could really see why the Rocky Mountains are called the Rocky Mountains. You could see miles and miles and miles of peaks. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice.

The rough thing was that is was cold and SO windy at the top of the mountain. Luckily it got better as the day went on.

We went on a little hike that had spectacular views. Then we grabbed some lunch which was amazing. They had a huge smoker and I got the brisket. It was so good!

Then we hiked across the mountain to the other gondola and rode down. The hike across the mountain was so beautiful. But very difficult with three little ones. Well Abby and Jane did great... Juliet is determined to walk and do it on her own. And she is SO slow. So slow. So it was exhausting trying to get her to move.

Then we got some ice cream and took a shuttle back over to the first gondola and rode it up and down a few more times. We were so sad to leave it and go back to the hotel. It was a busy, busy fun day!

I have never seen so many wildflowers in my life. It was incredible!

Yummy ice cream!

This sweet little baby was a dream. She finally passed out in the baby bjorn. She was just so happy and perfect. We are the luckiest to have her around.

Parenting at its finest. Probably the prettiest place I've changed a poopy diaper.
